Ask any parent what the most important factor in their children’s pre-school education is, and the answer is invariable “It’s the teacher!”  We couldn’t agree more!

Highlights of our school include:

l        Highly Qualified Staff.  All of our teachers are smart, enthusiastic and have a passion for working with children.  Our lead teachers are experts in their fields and have been trained in the application of Multiple Intelligences theory.   They also have extensive teaching experience, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and interest in different cultures and educational practices. 

l        MI-based Curriculum.  Working with researchers at Harvard University, we have developed a curriculum that provides customized activities for every student based on his or her personal profile.  Each child participates in long-term authentic (real-life) projects, whose topic will be derived from teacher observations and assessments of the child.

l        Small Classes.  We have a maximum ratio of 5 students to 1 teacher in our Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten classes, and 8 to 1 in our Kindergarten class.  This low student to teacher ratio is one of the reasons for the success of our curriculum.  We also have specialty teachers who run various classes such as art and music.

l        Parent Involvement.  Our teachers meet with parents on a regular basis which is as much an avenue for our teachers to share their observations about the development of the children as it is for them to learn about the students’ changes and growth at home.  Detailed information about the curriculum, projects and the children's progress is communicated every week through our on-line class notes, photographs and sampled work.  At the end of every term, a specially created 'digital portfolio' is given to each family that documents the children's development over the course of the year.  This is a detailed report that also assists with the application process to elementary schools around the world.
